Sunday 10th November, Briefly at 9.25 and at 10.55 am

Brockham Parish Council have applied for a temporary road closure on the morning of Sunday 10th November for the annual service on Remembrance Sunday.

Councillors will man the road closure to minimise disruption. We intend to repeat what we did last year to ensure the Scouts can safely complete their parade along Middle Street to Christ Church (road closed at 9.25 but reopened when they reach the church) and to ensure crowd safety and respect the memorial service outside in the church garden (road closed again from around 10.55 to 11.10). The application details are as follows:

  • Date: Sunday 10thNovember 2019
  • Time: Between the hours of 9:25 am and 11:10 am
  • Location: Middle Street, from the Middle Street/Old School Lane junction to the Middle Street/Wheelers Lane junction.
This message is to apprise residents of the application in progress and to provide an opportunity for comments. Do get in touch with the Parish Clerk, Laura Mann, by email at if you have any particular concerns.

~Karen Gargani, Chairman, Brockham Parish Council
