Upcoming Cycle Race on the Morning of 11th August

On Sunday morning there is to be a road cycle race that will be passing through Leigh. The race is due to commence at 9:30 am and is likely to be over by 11:30 am. The race will be based at the Newdigate Village Hall where participants will gather before proceeding to the start on Stan Hill. See the link here for the route:

Pride In Surrey 2019

This will be the first LGBTQ+ Pride for Surrey, UK. The confirmed date is Saturday 10th August with a parade running through Woking Town followed by a Pride Celebration in Woking Park.

Check that your garden sheds / outbuildings are safe and secure.

Yesterday we visited an address in Guildford Road, Westcott, after a report of a break in overnight between Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th August. Equiries continue:

Theft of a Catalytic Converter

From a car in Ashtead, between Monday 5th and Tuesday 6th August. Check your car or van and have your catalytic converter etched or forensically marked and put stickers in the windscreen to say this has been done.
