Surrey Police Fraud Newsletter for August

We’re talking about romance fraud this month after a gang were jailed for this last week. This growing crime is something that victims can be reticent to come to the police about. We want to assure you that we deal with romance fraud sensitively, and definitely want to hear from you if you feel you have been a victim, not least so we can provide support and advice to ensure you can move on with your life and don’t become a repeat victim. Please call us on 101 to report it.

This newsletter also includes information about a scam we’ve seen in both counties this month where fraudsters are claiming to be from water or drainage companies. Please beware of this, and as ever, please tell family, friends and your networks. In the meantime, here is this month's newsletter:
